We just completed our first attempt at “Record Night,” and we had an excellent times with everyone. Our co-partner’s in crime were the kind folks at Shelter Half who helped make it possible. We had Tashaki Miyaki play, Andy Neuhues do visuals and our friend Ian Marshall from Wombleton Records (you’ve scoured his records at our shop) to DJ the event. The main theme was that we had our friends bring a record, or 2, and Ian played these records throughout the night, but there could be only 1 winner. That winner was Neil Harrison, whose jam, “Home is Where the Hatred Is,” was the jam….get it ? We gave Neil a custom record crate from yours truly. Thanks again to everyone and hope to do it again very soon.
